Design
a new forum banner!
(from June 8 to July 1, 2004)
The Cinema 4D forum needs a
new banner! The June 2004 Challenge is to design a new banner
for the forum. It could be very stylized or very formal, it could
be an explosion of colours or just subtle shades, the choice is
yours. It must however be 600*100 pixels in size and it must include
graphical elements for hotspots. Hotspots are portions
of a picture or graphic which contain embedded links. You can
identify hotspots when your cursor changes into a pointing hand
as it passes over them (try it on the banner displayed above!).
Don't worry about the linking, we will take care of that, just
make sure that you have hotspots for the following links:
• Gallery
• Plugins database
• Challenges/contests
• Resources
• FAQ
• MAXON
A couple of things to keep
in mind: The banner will be displayed against a light
background so take some time to reflect over your choice of colours.
The basic elements of the banner should be made in Cinema 4D but
heavy post-processing and in a 2D application is of course allowed.
Upload your entries to the challenge
(image and information) in the Cinema
4D forum (use the following message title: "My entry to the
challenge"). After approval they will be included in this gallery.
The members of the Cinema 4D forum will then vote for the winning
entry.
Added 2004-0618: For the banner
challenge you are allowed to upload more than
one entry!
First prize is the honour to have
your banner on display in the forum AND you get
to choose the next challenge!
Remember, we are a community, so don't hesitate to ask for help
in the Cinema
4D forum!
Have fun and good luck!
